Перекладацькі засоби відтворення жіночого мовлення у серіалі «Бріджертони» (“Bridgerton”)

У ході бакалаврської роботи було досліджено особливості перекладу жіночого мовлення у серіалі «Бріджертони» та визначенні способів його перекладу українською.
Об’єктом дослідження стали одиниці жіночого мовлення у серіалі «Бріджертони» та їх українські відповідники.
У роботі розглянуто існуючі підходи до поняття гендеру та гендерні стереотипи та розкрито сутність жіночого мовлення. Визначено гендерний аспект перекладу крізь призму лінгво-культурної адаптації. Досліджено лексичні, граматичні та синтаксичні особливості жіночого мовлення та специфіку їх перекладу. Також розкрито специфіку відтворення психологічних особливостей мовленнєвої поведінки жінок.
Проведений систематичний аналіз одиниць жіночого мовлення та аналіз особливостей їх передачі в українському перекладі був проведений на новому матеріалі дослідження, оскільки обраний телесеріал досі не став об’єктом жодної наукової розвідки серед українських перекладознавців.

The topicality of this paper lies in the need for a synthesized approach to gender and translation studies. Moreover, the analysis of the translation of female speech contributes to a better understanding of gender roles and socio-cultural norms.
The translator should consider the various nuances of style, use of language, and communication strategies that characterize women's speech in the source language to ensure that they are correctly reproduced, understandable, and acceptable to the target culture.
The research aims to highlight specific features of the translation of female speech in "Bridgerton" series and to determine the ways of its translation into the Ukrainian language. The case study selected for the analysis comprises more than 90 examples of female speech and the same number of counterparts in the translation language, taken from the first season of "Bridgerton" series and the text of its official Ukrainian dubbing performed by Netflix.
The prospect for further research implies the translation of female speech features based on new material selected from series and films on historical or contemporary topics to identify distinctive and common features in the speech of female characters, as well as the analysis of the translation techniques used by translators when subtitling or dubbing these linguistic units.
