Особливості відтворення реалій корейських драм при перекладі українською мовою

The main goal of the work is to identify the peculiarities of reproducing realia in film subtitling and to find effective strategies for preserving the authenticity of Korean realia in translation, which will contribute to a better understanding and perception of Korean culture by the Ukrainian audience.
This study examines the peculiarities of reproduction of Korean realia through the Ukrainian language in the context of film translation. The growing popularity of Korean cinematography in Ukraine is creating an increased demand for high-quality Ukrainian translations of Korean films and series. In every film product, appear some words that denote culture-specific phenomena and objects. In the translation literature, such words are called "realia" and are considered one of the most difficult challenges for a translator. Since realia play a key role in conveying the unique features of a nation's culture, traditions, and worldview, the issue of translating these linguistic units requires more detailed consideration.
