Вербалізація уявлень про сімейні цінності в пареміях української та китайської мов

This master's thesis focuses on the linguoculturological analysis of paremiological units in Ukrainian and Chinese languages with a particular emphasis on perceptions of family values. The research is relevant in the context of intercultural communication and understanding cultural values through language. The study examines Ukrainian and Chinese paremiological units related to family themes, with the verbalization of the concept of "family values" in the paremiological funds of both languages as its subject.
The research aims to conduct a comparative analysis of Ukrainian and Chinese proverbs to identify common and distinct perceptions of family values. To achieve this goal, the following tasks are set: to elucidate the theoretical foundations of studying proverbs, analyze the representation of family values in the folk wisdom of Ukrainian and Chinese peoples, conduct a comparative analysis of paremiological units on the theme of family life, analyze the structural features of the examined Ukrainian proverbs, experimentally explore the relevance of notions about family and gender roles in the family through the lens of proverbs, and develop a linguodidactic strategy for the use of proverbs in the process of studying the Ukrainian language by Chinese students.
The research results revealed certain differences in the perception of family values through proverbs in Ukrainian and Chinese cultures, indicating diversity in approaches to the role of family and gender stereotypes. The work opens up new possibilities for studying linguocultural aspects in the context of family issues, which are relevant in modern intercultural dialogue.
Therefore, this master's thesis makes a significant contribution to the development of linguoculturological research and can be beneficial for teachers of Ukrainian as a foreign language, translators, and all those interested in intercultural communications.
