The article substantiates and focuses on vital ability of doctors to be resilient to the manipulative influences from patients. There has been presented and suggested a number of outcomes obtained as a result of the preliminary study. Necessity of undertaking of psychological training and education for doctors to enable them to interact within professional environment has been proved. Key words: psychological resilience of personality, manipulative influence, psychological defense.
