The purpose of the Bachelor’s thesis is to research the phenomenon of Internet communication and blogging, to detect lexical features of youth sociolects in the English internet blogs, namely youth slang, jargon, and vulgarisms.
The object of the research is youth sociolects in the English internet blogs.
The subject of the study is lexical features of youth slang functioning in English blogs as well as the usage of youth jargon and vulgarisms.
