This paper explores the application of Content Management Systems (CMS) as a key mechanism for developing and managing web resources within IT project management. It details the core functionality of CMS platforms, highlighting leading options such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, and Shopify. The study analyzes the trade-offs of implementing CMS solutions, balancing advantages like cost efficiency and modularity against drawbacks like performance limitations and security risks. Furthermore, practical use cases for IT project management are identified, including project document handling, team collaboration, task tracking, and knowledge base creation. Ultimately, the paper demonstrates how CMS usage enhances productivity, streamlines communication, and lowers development overhead for IT project teams.
