It is researched that the phonosemantic and phonostylistic peculiarities of 19th-century English novels reflected a deliberate and nuanced approach to language. It is considered that authors utilized sound-related elements to not only convey meaning but also to create a distinctive literary style that resonated with the themes and emotions of the time.
