In the epoch of Renaissance important changes took place not only in the social, cultural sphere of life but also in literature. Ukrainian-polish unity and collaboration in the sphere of culture have an old and deep root. Many Ukrainian writers focused on the achievements of Polish literature. The elite writing, widespread enough in noble circles was founded. And the only purpose of that was satisfaction of their queries and tastes. As far as panegyrics were written especially for elite, the language were: Latin, Polish and sometimes Ukrainian. Therefore, this article is devoted to the research of Latin panegyrics of XVI–XVII centuries on the territory of Eastern Europe.
