Анотація :
This master thesis is dedicated to political slogans in American political campaigns. The author aims to analyze how political slogans have evolved from 1840 to 2020 and identify patterns and trends in their usage. The research’s object is political catchphrases while the subject is political slogans of the USA from 1840 to 2020.
The works of eminent linguists, including from Ukraine such as O. Bylinska, A. Kovalevska, and N. Kutuza, as well as from other countries, including Falk Hartig, G. Hare, and C. Newscome, who have studied the function and significance of campaign slogans in political discourse, serve as the theoretical foundation for this research on American political slogans.
