Педагогіка, 2(4), 36–42.https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/18554The article analyzes the educational activities of the Ukrainian writer Mihas Tkach, his role in the formation and development of organization "Prosvita" in Chernigov in early 90-ies of XX century; the history of formation of the organization and coverage of this process in periodicals studied, also the role of newspapers and magazines in the success of the revival of "Enlightenment", identified external and internal influences, names of public figures, associates M. Tkach.Particular emphasis was made on the analysis of the way of life of the writer, the formation of his citizenship. We analyzed some of the works of M. Tkach in the light of the problem being studied. Especial attention is paid to social activities of M. Tkacha on chief editor position of "Literary Chernihiv" magazine, the organizational forms of work with talented youth were studied.У статті досліджується просвітницька діяльність чернігівського письменника Михася Ткача, вивчається історія створення громадської організації "Просвіта", участь у цьому процесі М. Ткача.
