Гуманітарно-релігієзнавчий вісник, 2(18), 26–31. https://doi.org/10.17721/sophia.2021.18.6УДК 271.4(477):364-3"1991/2021"10.17721/sophia.2021.18.6https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/15745This research is devoted to the issues of socially significant activities carried out by religious communities belonging to the Ukrainian GreekCatholic Church in Ukraine during the period of independence.In the course of the research, using official web portals and other publicly covered resources, the factual material was analyzed and theoreticalgeneralizations were subjected to philosophical and religious reflection, which allowed determining the following: the intensity of social activitiescarried out by the religious communities of the Catholic Church in Ukraine during the period of independence is caused by external processes ofdemocratization and general spiritual renewal of society; the integrative intentions that declare the cooperation of Catholics with public structuresare emphasized, postulating the idea that activities are a kind of service that leads to a certain interpenetration of Christian values in society, creating a special dialogue between believers and people of the secular worldview. Thus, openness and empathy with social problems, joint search forsolutions to social issues, and the introduction of the idea of the dominance of Christian landmarks by members of the Catholic community createsconditions for finding options for positive reconstruction of the domestic social space; the functional competence and coordinated structure of thework of Catholic religious communities are noted, as well as real examples of the priority of religious freedom and interfaith tolerance are indicated;the multi-vector nature of the work carried out during the implementation of various social projects in the charitable, educational, cultural, publishing, medical, publishing, and military spheres is highlighted; it was found that the activities of representatives of the Catholic religious communitiesin the social sector are largely based on certain work strategies that appeal to theoretical postulates, socially-oriented documents of the CatholicChurch, and, accordingly, formalized in special guidelines.In general, the article is based on the general provisions declared by the official position of the Catholic Church on social policy and outlinesthe areas in which the religious communities of the UGCC develop social activities in Ukraine since independence.Присвячено питанням соціально значущої діяльності, здійсненої релігійними громадами, що належать Українськійгреко-католицькій церкві на території України періоду незалежності.У ході дослідження, користуючись офіційними вебпорталами та іншими публічно висвітленими ресурсами, булоздійснено аналіз фактичного матеріалу та піддано філософсько-релігієзнавчій рефлексії теоретичні узагальнення,що дозволило визначити: по-перше, інтенсивність соціальної діяльності, проведеної релігійними громадами Католицької церкви в Україні періоду незалежності, зумовлена зовнішніми процесами демократизації та загального духовного оновлення суспільства; по-друге, окремо підкреслено інтегруючі інтенції, що декларують співпрацю католиків згромадськими структурами, постулюючи думку про те, що діяльність – це свого роду служіння, яке приводить допевного взаємопроникнення християнських цінностей у суспільство, створюючи особливий діалог між вірянами ілюдьми світського світосприйняття; по-третє, відзначено функціональну компетентність та злагоджену структурованість роботи католицьких релігійних громад, також наведено реальні приклади пріоритетності релігійноїсвободи та міжконфесійної терпимості; по-четверте, висвітлено багатовекторність здійснюваної роботи під часреалізації різноманітних соціальних проєктів адресного спрямування у суспільній сфері; по-п'яте, з'ясовано, що здебільшого діяльність представників католицьких релігійних громад у соціальному секторі спирається на визначеністратегії роботи, що апелюють до теоретичних постулатів, соціально орієнтованих документів Католицької церкви та відповідно закріплені в спеціальних рекомендаціях настановчого характеру.Статтю побудовано на загальних положеннях, задекларованих офіційною позицією Католицької церкви з питаньсоціальної політики, також окреслено напрями, в яких релігійні громади УГКЦ розвивають соціальну діяльність натериторії України періоду незалежності.ukUkraine of the period of independenceUkrainian Greek Catholic Churchsocial activitiesreligious communitiesУкраїна періоду незалежностіУкраїнська греко-католицька церквасоціальна діяльністьрелігійні громадиСтаття
