The similarities and differences between these two models have been analyzed. The relevance of these concepts in the context of current technological, social and organizational developments has been highlighted. The perspectives for further research on the rhizome, which we consider as a prototype of the cognitive metaphor of the sociocultural reality of the Francophonie, are outlined in the context of its implication in the analysis of the polysystemic network of French cultural codes.У статті досліджено й порівняно поняття мережі та ризоми, їхні структури, функції та значення в різних сферах. Проаналізовано подібності та відмінності між цими двома моделями. Висвітлено актуальність цих концептів у контексті поточних технологічних, соціальних і організаційних розробок. Окреслено перспективи подальших досліджень ризоми, яку вважаємо прообразом когнітивної метафори соціокультурної реальності франкомовного світу, в контексті її залучення до аналізу полісистемної мережі французьких культурних кодів.L'article examine et compare les concepts de réseau et de rhizome, leurs structures, fonctions et significations dans de différents domaines. On a analysé les similitudes et les différences entre ces deux modèles. On a souligné la pertinence de ces concepts dans le contexte des évolutions technologiques, sociales et organisationnelles actuelles.
