З огляду на безпрецедентне зростання кількості ВПО у світі внаслідок збройних конфліктів, природних катастроф та кліматичних змін, виникла потреба в систематичному аналізі наукового доробку в цій сфері. Метою дослідження є виявлення еволюційних тенденцій та структури наукового дискурсу з проблематики ВПО на основі аналізу публікацій у провідних наукометричних базах даних за період 2014-2024 років. Методологічним підґрунтям роботи слугував комплексний бібліометричний аналіз. Емпіричну базу сформовано на основі метаданих наукових публікацій, відібраних з баз Web of Science Core Collection (WoS CC) та Scopus за 2014–2024 роки за пошуковим запитом "internally displaced persons". Для обробки та візуалізації даних було використано програмне забезпечення VOSviewer. Застосовано аналіз спільного вживання ключових слів (co-occurrence analysis) для ідентифікації тематичних напрямів та аналіз співавторства (co-authorship analysis) для картографування мереж наукової взаємодії між країнами. Ключовим елементом методології став порівняльний аналіз результатів, отриманих з обох баз даних, що дозволило верифікувати виявлені тенденції та визначити специфіку відображення наукового доробку в кожній із них. За результатами аналізу даних з Web of Science (372 унікальні публікації) було ідентифіковано шість основних дослідницьких кластерів. Аналіз публікацій з бази даних Scopus (657 унікальних публікацій) виявив чотири тематичні кластери. Особливу увагу приділено позиції України в глобальному науковому дискурсі, де вітчизняні дослідження інтегровано в європейський дослідницький простір. Порівняльний аналіз двох баз даних демонструє як спільні тенденції, так і специфічні особливості представлення досліджень, підтверджуючи важливість використання множинних джерел для комплексного розуміння наукового ландшафту. Дослідження розкриває еволюцію наукового підходу від реактивних тактичних рішень до проактивного системного аналізу проблем вимушеної міграції.The article presents the results of a comprehensive bibliometric study of scientific publications on the issue of internally displaced persons (IDPs). Given the unprecedented increase in the number of IDPs worldwide due to armed conflicts, natural disasters, and climate change, there is a need for a systematic analysis of the scientific literature in this field. The study aims to identify evolutionary trends and the structure of the scientific discourse on IDP issues by analyzing publications from leading scientometric databases for the period 2014-2024. The methodological basis of the work was a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. The empirical base was formed from the metadata of scientific publications selected from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoS CC) and Scopus databases from 2014–2024 using the search query "internally displaced persons." VOSviewer software was used for data processing and visualization. Keyword co-occurrence analysis was applied to identify thematic areas, and co-authorship analysis was used to map scientific collaboration networks between countries. A key element of the methodology was a comparative analysis of the results obtained from both databases, which allowed for the verification of identified trends and the determination of the specific characteristics of how scientific output is represented in each. Based on the analysis of data from Web of Science (372 unique publications), six main research clusters were identified. The analysis of publications from the Scopus database (657 unique publications) revealed four thematic clusters. Special attention was paid to Ukraine's position in the global scientific discourse, where domestic research is integrated into the European research area. The comparative analysis of the two databases demonstrates both common trends and specific features in the representation of research, confirming the importance of using multiple sources for a comprehensive understanding of the scientific landscape.
