Ukrainians, that consolidated must be oriented on the future, it must clearly present an ultimate goal to that aims. The process of consolidation is protracted and heavy, he presents a main socio-political task to development of society. The powerful factors of consolidation of Ukrainians are forming of political nation, development of civil society and presence of national elite, that must instance public unity. Amongst important factors, that can consolidate Ukrainians a substantial place is occupied by the processes of concordance of interests of ethnic associations of Ukraine, realization of national idea, potential of Ukrainian, historical memories and religion.As exactly a political elite forms political reference points for advancement of the state, then it is necessary, that she, first of all, was of interest all society, was highly skilled and enjoyed a confidence among a population. A language appears a powerful factor that consolidates of Ukrainians. Absence of purposeful language politics on receipt resulted Ukraine of independence in a volume that Ukrainian society clearly shared on Ukrainian-language and Russian-language regions. It is important, that in present time, when opposition of our state to open aggression of Russian Federation is, the Ukrainian TV channels translated news, different transmissions and films by Ukrainian, in particular, with the subjects of reflection of heroism and dignity of Ukrainians. Historical memory plays an important role the processes of rallying of Ukrainians. For objective illumination of historical events both in scientific literature and in mass-media, it is needed to attract specialists – historians, philosophers. It is necessary to open out professional discussions in mass-media in relation to historical events, facts and personalities that cause ambiguous attitude toward itself and provoke conflicts in Ukrainian society. Politics in relation to historical memory, first of all, must be directed in support stability in society, not to assume the excessive politicizing of historical events, but must balance vision of the historical past of separate regions with national vision.Thus, when a question appeared about territorial integrity of our state, Ukrainians unites for the active decision of this problem. Aggression of Russian Federation in relation to Ukraine stimulated the consolidation processes of Ukrainians and became, in a certain measure, by the means of concentration of collective energy, Ukraine sent to the European vector of development.Keywords: Ukrainians, consolidation of Ukrainians, the political elite, language, historikal memori, politics of historical memory, language policy.Ніна Авер’яноваУ статті аналізується проблема консолідації українства в сучасних умовах. Показано, що українство для своєї консолідації має чітко уявляти кінцеву мету, якої прагне і мобілізувати свої зусилля для її досягнення.Консолідація українства залежить від багатьох чинників, серед яких – спільність ідеї, мети, діяльність національної політичної еліти, що має бути взірцем суспільної єдності, політична культура, державна мова, історична пам'ять, економічні та освітньо-виховні чинники, релігія, мистецтво та ін. Авторка статті зупиняється на таких чинниках як політична еліта, мова, історична пам'ять. Вказує, що оскільки саме політична еліта формує політичні орієнтири для поступу держави, то необхідно, щоб вона, насамперед, представляла інтереси всього суспільства, булависококваліфікованою та користувалася довірою серед населення, послідовною та відкритою в своїх діях, не допускала внутрішніх конфліктів і чвар, що стане запорукою згуртування всього українства. Також важливо створити мовний простір для належного функціонування української мови. Мовна політика в процесі зміцнення національної держави,водночас з гарантуванням мовних прав людини, має забезпечувати національну єдність суспільства та утверджувати політичну стабільність. Українство, незважаючи на інформаційні війни та жорстку війну за мізки й душі українців, повинно зберігати на основі історичної пам’яті свою культуру, мову, територію.
