Нині в Німеччині активно функціонують понад 40 офіційно зареєстрованих саме українських громадських організацій, які допомагають українцям.The relevance of the research. The article focuses on the activities of public organizations in FRG during the Russian-Ukrainian war (2014-2024). Currently, more than 40 officially registered Ukrainian public organizations (both long-established and new) are actively operating in Germany – national-patriotic, volunteer, cultural, religious, educational, scientific, scouting, etc.—with different structures, number of members, locations, area of activities, etc. Purpose: To study the peculiarities of the functioning of previously established and new Ukrainian public associations, organisations, societies in Germany to summarise their main goals and demonstrate the activities they carry out in order to form a system of patriotic values among Ukrainians of different age groups and preserve their national identity and ethnic culture. Conclusions. The study has highlighted activities of these structures aimed at supporting war refugees and helping Ukraine in this difficult period. The main goals of the vast majority of these organizations are identified and summarized, including: 1) uniting Ukrainians in Germany and providing them with the necessary information; 2) preserving and strengthening the national identity of Ukrainians and preventing assimilation abroad by maximizing the implementation of their linguistic, educational, scientific, cultural, religious, sports and other rights and needs; 3) lobbying for Ukraine's interests in Germany; 4) involving Ukrainians in Germany in material and moral support of their native state - fundraising, humanitarian aid, promoting the strengthening of democratic processes in Ukraine and its European integration, conveying truthful information to the people of FRG about military events and crimes committed by Russians during the current war of aggression; 5) educating preschoolers, pupils, students and providing them with education in their native and German languages.
