Фольклористика, 28(1), 49–50.https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/19716The article is devoted to the study of the particularities of the translation of a specific vocabulary in the field of cybersecurity from Arabic into Ukrainian. The main focus lies on considering of methods of translation of computer terms of the cybersecurity sphere. The materials of the study were Arabic texts which concern cybercrime, hackers and information security of computer systems, and the work of Arabic researchers in Arabic. In Ukraine there are no researches that would analyze the trends of the formation of modern Arabic terminology systems in the field of computers and review texts in the field of cybersecurity, or translate the terminology vocabulary of this sphere, which is constantly being replenished. The author highlights the necessity of learning of computer terminology in the modern world. The work indicates the main areas of the functioning of the terminology of the sphere of the information security of computer systems. Changes in the composition of computer vocabulary and vocabulary of the sphere of information security of computer systems, especially its continuous replenishment, loss of a number of words, changes of meanings, are closely linked to the continuous development of information technology and cybercrime with it. When considering the methods of translation, the article relies on the classification of translation transformations of the researcher V. Komisarov who systematized the translation techniques: in the classification he highlights lexical, grammatical and lexical-grammatical groups. The article reveals that the choice of the methods of translation depends on the structure of the term. The author makes assumptions about the most common methods of translation of simple and complex computer terms within the sphere of the information security of computer systems and defines the term "Arabic terminology of the sphere of cybersecurity". The main purpose of units of Arabic terminology of the computer sphere is the nomination of the notions of the computer sphere.Вивчено особливості перекладу специфічної лексики у сфері кібербезпеки з арабської мови українською. Головну увагу зосереджено на розгляді способів перекладу комп'ютерних термінів у цій сфері. Матеріалом дослідження послужили арабські тексти, які стосуються кіберзлочинності, хакерів та інформаційної безпеки комп'ютерних систем. Виявлено, що вибір прийому перекладу залежить від структури терміна.
