These are AR-15 rifled hunting carbines for a hunting cartridge of caliber (.223 Rem), which are made on the basis of the M-16 military assault rifle of caliber 5.45x45 NATO mm, designed by Eugene Stoner and its modifications (M16A1, M16A2, M4A1 M16A4. Separately available devices and devices for the above-mentioned carbines, which affect the shock-trigger mechanism, without making irreversible changes to the design and provide the opportunity to conduct continuous or automatic firing. The purpose of the article is to analyze the state and industry standards approved by the orders of form-making entities that regulate the sphere of circulation of civilian weapons in Ukraine, in particular, samples of carbines model AR-15 for hunting cartridge caliber (.223 Rem). Determine typical devices and accessories and ways of making changes to the design of the above examples of rifled hunting firearms. The main forensic features of the changes are characterized, which are further classified according to the method of manufacture Research methods are represented by a system of general scientific and special scientific methods, which are chosen according to the topic and purpose of the research. The following methods were used in the work: dialectical – provided an opportunity to outline the general concept and structure of the research; formal-legal – for the analysis of normative legal acts, state and industry standards regulating the sphere of circulation of civilian weapons in Ukraine with the aim of their harmonization; system-structural – to determine criteria and develop a classification of devices and appliances; The empirical basis of the research is experiments to establish the possibility of phenomena, the repeatability of signs of individual processes. According to the results of the study, it was proven that the considered samples of hunting rifled firearms do not meet the following characteristics, namely: it is possible to replace the barrel with the receiver and the magazine of hunting (sporting) weapons with similar parts of military weapons; and the possible use of the barrel, receiver and magazine of hunting (sporting) weapons to complete combat weapons without making irreversible changes to the design of these parts visible to the naked eye. The peculiarities that were revealed during the analysis of the legal field regulating the status of hunting rifled firearms and the methods of its research objectively lead us to the position that the research of modern hunting weapons requires changes to the current state and industry standards, normative legal acts that regulate the procedure for the manufacture, acquisition, storage, accounting, transportation and use of firearms and the development of a separate method of its research, which will be harmonized with the legislation and interconnected with the forensic method of investigation of crimes committed in the sphere of firearms and ammunition circulation. Taking into account the considered features, it was determined that the process of processing and improvement of hunting rifled firearms is characterized by such features as: the use of informational Internet sources, the use of modern technical means (3D printers), the possibility of distribution and purchase of special constructive devices.Анотація. В даний час на території України набуває поширення багатоцільова зброя, яка реалізується як нарізна мисливська зброя і не відповідає вимогам законодавства. Йдеться про нарізні мисливські карабіни АР-15 під мисливський патрон калібру (.223 Rem), які виготовлені на базі військової штурмової гвинтівки М-16 калібру 5,45х45 мм НАТО конструкції Юджина Стонера та її модифікацій (М16А1)., M16A2, M4A1 M16A4.Окремо доступні прилади і пристрої для вищевказаних карабінів, які впливають на ударно-спусковий механізм, не вносячи незворотних змін в конструкцію і дають можливість вести безперервну або автоматичну стрільбу. Метою статті є аналіз державних та галузевих стандартів, затверджених наказами суб’єктів формоутворення, що регулюють сферу обігу цивільної зброї в Україні, зокрема зразків карабінів моделі АР-15 під мисливський патрон калібру (. 223 Rem). Визначити типові пристрої та приладдя та способи внесення змін у конструкцію наведених зразків нарізної мисливської зброї. Охарактеризувати основні криміналістичні ознаки змін, які далі класифікують за способом виготовлення За результатами дослідження доведено, що розглянуті зразки мисливської нарізної зброї не відповідають таким характеристикам, а саме: можлива заміна ствола зі ствольною коробкою та магазину мисливської (спортивної) зброї на аналогічні деталі. бойової зброї; та можливе використання ствола, ствольної коробки та магазину мисливської (спортивної) зброї для комплектації бойової зброї без внесення видимих неозброєним оком незворотних змін у конструкцію цих частин. Особливості, виявлені під час аналізу правового поля, що регулює статус мисливської нарізної вогнепальної зброї, та методики її дослідження об’єктивно свідчать про те, що дослідження сучасної мисливської зброї потребує внесення змін до чинних державних та галузевих стандартів, нормативно-правових актів. акти, що регулюють порядок виготовлення, придбання, зберігання, обліку, транспортування та застосування вогнепальної зброї та розроблення окремої методики її дослідження, яка буде гармонізована із законодавством та взаємопов’язана з криміналістичною методикою розслідування злочинів, скоєних у сфері обігу вогнепальної зброї та боєприпасів.
