Політологічний вісник(90), 121–131. https://doi.org/10.17721/2415-881x.2023.90.121-13110.17721/2415-881x.2023.90.121-131https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/18837The authors define the essence of ruscism as a post-imperial, aggressive, and hateful set of ideologemes towards non-Russian cultures, which considers it normal to ignore international law and use natural and cultural resources to protect the interests of the Russian Federation along with geopolitical pressure on other states, based on the previously proposed reflections on this phenomenon in the political life of the Russian Federation and relying on certain historical facts and myths developed by Russian propaganda. The author identifies five features of ruscism: uncritical thinking; nihilism; westernization; information distortion; and post-imperialism. It was found that the often-described disdain and hatred of ruscism for other cultures is only one of its features. The authors of the study concluded that this is only one of the signs of ruscism. Just as it is only one aspect of the essence of ruscism. In politics, vested interests play a key role, which does not allow us to assert the existence of hatred for the sake of hatred. First of all, ruscism in this study is an ideological justification for the actions of the Russian state, and hatred is one of the pillars of this justification.Визначено сутність рашизму як постімперської, загарбницької та ненависницької до неросійських культур сукупності ідеологем, що вважає нормальним ігнорування міжнародного права і використання природних та культурних ресурсів для захисту інтересів РФ разом з геополітичним тиском на інші держави на основі запропонованих раніше роздумів про це явище у політичному житті РФ та спираючись на окремі історичні факти та міфи розробки російської пропаганди. Виокремлено п'ять ознак рашизму — некритичність мислення; нігілістичність; вепонізаторство; інформаційне викривлювання; постімперськість. З’ясовано, що часто описувані зневага та ненависть рашизму до інших культур є лише однією з його ознак. Автори дослідження виснували, що це лише одна з ознак рашизму. Як і що це лише одна зі сторін сутності рашизму. У політиці ключову роль грає інтерес, що не дозволяє стверджувати про існування ненависті заради ненависті.
