However, despite the abundance of literature on various aspects of manipulation, the study of the mechanisms of speech influence in the media remains in demand in linguistics. Most of the works analyze certain manipulative technologies, strategies and tactics, and propose methods of psychological defense against this kind of influence. On the periphery of research is the role of linguistic means, which are the basis for the implementation of manipulation in the field of mass communication. The object of the research is the media texts on the COVID-19 pandemic, in which manipulative speech effects are carried out. The subject of the research is linguistic means and speech techniques for manipulating information about COVID-19 in the media texts selected for analysis.uaCOVID-19pandemicmanipulation technologiesCOVID-19 pandemic & Manipulation technologiesБакалаврська робота
