Визначено і проаналізовано шляхи та форми протидії ідеологічній агресії Московського патріархату як складової російсько-української війни.The relevance of the research. Military and ideological aggression of Russia became a marker of social identity and civilizational choice of Christian denominations. It completely unveiled the position of the UOC MP as a church that formally positions itself as the Ukrainian Orthodox Church but in fact represents the interests of the ROC, as it adheres to its position that Ukraine should be in the sphere of Russian geoconfessional interests. This is testified by the dominance of the Russian language in religious services, sermons, educational institutions, and the publishing sphere of the UOC MP. The activity of this organisation does not correspond to the interests of the Ukrainian state. On the contrary, the theory of the "Russian world," the idea of reviving "Holy Russia", is actively planted in the Ukrainian religious and information space under the guise of the unity of the Orthodox faith. The UOC MP opposes the real autocephaly of Ukrainian Orthodoxy and does not recognize the newly created Orthodox Church of Ukraine as canonical, hindering its development in various ways. Accordingly, these circumstances put on the agenda of Ukrainians today the search for ways to counteract the ideological aggression of the Moscow Patriarchate as a component of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The purpose of the study is to determine and analyze the ways and forms of countering the ideological aggression of the Moscow Patriarchate as a component of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Сonclusions. Russia's military and ideological aggression has clearly revealed the position of the UOC MP as a structural part of the ROC and a powerful tool for implementing the policy and ideology of the "Russian world" on the territory of Ukraine. The realities of Ukrainian church life prompt an active search for ways to counteract the influence of the Moscow Patriarchate. In a practical sense, effective means of its implementation can be: state legislation in the religious sphere; activities of the Security Service of Ukraine; interconfessional dialogue between the OCU and the UOC MP; opposition to the ideology of the "Russian world" from the church and secular public, primarily the joint actions of the OCU and the UGCC in opposition to the Moscow Patriarchate; strengthening the role of mass media in overcoming religious threats. One of the most effective forms of countering Russian aggression in the ideological war is the development of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, which is clearly evidenced by the transition of religious communities of the UOC MP into its environment. An important factor in the expansion of the influence of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine was the transition to its subordination of one of the largest spiritual centers of Ukraine—the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The international context of the development of the OCU is its world recognition, which currently accounts for a third of the local Orthodox Churches in the world. The presentation of Ukrainian autocephaly of Ukraine today is the representation in the Assembly of the World Council of Churches.
