Актуальність обумовлена необхідністю зміцнення здоров’я населення, розвитку внутрішнього туризму та відновлення економіки в умовах післявоєнного періоду. Використано методи аналізу статистичних даних, оцінки природних ресурсів, культурно-історичної спадщини, санаторно-курортної інфраструктури та соціально-економічних чинників попиту на оздоровчі послуги. Дослідження виявило значний рекреаційний потенціал регіону, включно з мінеральними водами, лікувальними грязями, природними парками, річковими долинами, культурними об’єктами та спортивною інфраструктурою. Встановлено перспективи розвитку санаторно-курортної бази, екотуризму, активного відпочинку та комбінованих турпродуктів, що поєднують оздоровлення з культурнопізнавальними та освітніми програмами. Результати підтверджують доцільність комплексного підходу до розвитку лікувально-оздоровчої рекреації для підвищення конкурентоспроможності регіону та покращення якості життя населення.The study provides a comprehensive assessment of the Kharkiv region’s potential for the development of health and wellness recreation, which represents a significant aspect of regional tourism. Its relevance is determined by the need to strengthen public health, promote domestic tourism, and support economic recovery in the post-war context. The research applied multiple methods, including statistical data analysis, evaluation of natural and cultural resources, assessment of sanatorium-resort infrastructure, and examination of socio-economic factors influencing the demand for wellness services. The findings reveal that the region possesses considerable recreational and therapeutic potential, including mineral waters, therapeutic muds, protected natural areas, river valleys, cultural and historical monuments, museums, and sports facilities. Opportunities for the development and modernization of sanatorium-resort facilities, ecotourism, active recreation, and integrated tourism products combining health improvement with cultural, educational, and recreational activities have been identified. The study demonstrates that a comprehensive approach to health and wellness recreation can enhance the competitiveness of the region, attract both domestic and international tourists, and contribute to improving public health and the overall quality of life.
