The purpose of the study is to analyze the theoretical and practical aspects of involving experts of the Expert Service of the MIA as specialists in conducting an examination of the crime scene investigation. Achieve the purpose of the study, the author uses the general dialectical method of scientific cognition of real phenomena and their connections with the practical activities of law enforcement agencies. The special research methods used in this article are: the method of system analysis; comparative legal analysis; comparative analysis; modeling. The theoretical basis of the study is the latest scientific works of Ukrainian scholars in the chosen field. The scientific novelty of the study is that, based on the analysis of the array of available data on the theory and practice of involving experts of the Expert Service of the MIA as specialists in the examination of the crime scene investigation, the current possibilities and feasibility of using specialized mobile laboratories of forensic, automotive, explosive and other types are considered. Involvement of experts of the Expert Service of the MIA as specialists in the examination of the crime scene investigation is one of the main methods of identifying and documenting signs of a criminal offense during the pre-trial investigation. Most crimes (taking into account departmental regulations) are detected in specialized mobile laboratories of forensic, automotive, explosive and other types. There is a need to improve the interaction between the technical and forensic units of the pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police and the units of the Expert Service of the MIA, the relevant legal framework, and to take measures to improve the technical equipment of the relevant institutions.Анотація. Мета дослідження полягає у розгляді теоретичних і практичних аспектів залучення експертів Експертної служби МВС як спеціалістів до проведення огляду місця події. Для досягнення мети дослідження використано загальний діалектичний метод науково- го пізнання реальних явищ, а також їх зв’язків із практичною діяльністю правоохоронних органів. Спеціальними методами дослідження, використаними в цій статті, є: метод системного аналізу; порівняльно-правовий; компаративний; моделювання. Теоретичний базис дослідження становлять останні наукові праці українських учених за обраним напрямом. Наукова новизна дослідження полягає в тому, що на підставі аналізу масиву доступних даних щодо теорії та практики залучення експертів Експертної служби МВС як спеціалістів до огляду місця події розглянуто сучасні можливості й доцільність застосування спеціалізованих пересувних лабораторій криміналістичного, автотехнічного, вибухотехнічного та іншого типу. Залучення експертів Експертної служби МВС як спеціалістів до проведення огляду міс- ця події є одним із основних шляхів виявлення та закріплення ознак кримінального правопорушення під час досудового розслідування. Здебільшого виявлення злочинів, ураховуючи відомчі нормативні акти, відбувається в складі спеціалізованих пересувних лабораторій криміналістичного, автотехнічного, вибухотехнічного та іншого типу.
