The question of the ethical foundation of conducting scientific research and developing innovations, the balance between the search for scientific solutions for specific scientific problems, and the ethos of civilizational responsibility, inclusion in the civilizational agenda with its corresponding regulatory procedures, is debatable in the global research space.Modern social turbulence leaves its mark on the field of scientific and innovative activity, which requires the adoption of an updated value paradigm in response to these challenges (global — Industry 4.0, sustainable development, etc. ); national — military aggression, political modernization, etc. ). It was possible to demonstrate that the concept of «responsible research and innovation», not only at the level of political declarations, but also of social practice, can act as a basis for the development of the Ukrainian sphere of science and innovative development. The real practice of implementing the ethos of responsibility in the field of science and innovation requires not only a developed state policy, but also an update of the key provisions of the philosophy of education in the field of training scientifically gifted youth.Етичний вимір наукових досліджень та його релевантність соціо-культурним трансформаціям є традиційним для філософського дискурсу, проте, для української філософії особливе значення отримує розв’язання протиріч глобального та локального у питаннях розвитку наукової сфери. Дискусійним у глобальному дослідницькому просторі виступає питання етичного фундаменту здійснення наукових досліджень та розробки інновацій, балансу між пошуком наукових рішень для конкретних наукових проблем, та етосом цивілізаційної відповідальності, включеності у цивілізаційний порядок денний із його відповідними регламентуючими процедурами.Сучасна соціальна турбулентність накладає свій відбиток на сферу наукової та інноваційної діяльності, яка потребує утвердження оновленої ціннісної парадигми у відповідь на ці виклики (глобальні — Індустрія 4.0, сталий розвиток тощо); національні — військова агресія, політична модернізація тощо). Вдалося продемонструвати, що концепція «відповідальні дослідження та інновації», не тільки на рівні політичних декларацій, але й суспільної практики, може виступати базисом для розвитку української сфери науки та інноваційного розвитку.
