The article explores the position and significance of academic integrity in the educational setting of higher military education institutions. The research is founded on an analysis of theoretical sources and practical insights derived from the operational experiences of military educational institutions. Results. The principles and values of academic integrity among applicants are delineated as an integral component of the educational milieu within higher military education institutions. After analyzing the contributions of researchers, the primary methods for cultivating a correct approach to academic integrity among future officers are identified. The article scrutinizes the regulatory and legal framework of the national educational policy regarding academic integrity in higher education institutions, while also delineating the challenges associated with its implementation within the educational process. It is determined that the distinctive aspect of training future officers to adhere to the standards of academic integrity lies in guiding young individuals towards moral norms of conduct and fostering respect for the scholarly contributions of other authors. Conclus і ons. The analysis revealed that the successful implementation of the fundamental principles of academic integrity among students in higher military education requires the adoption of interactive teaching methods by instructors to enhance traits of professional morality. These include diligence and self-reliance in learning, accountability for one's actions and academic performance, fostering tolerance, mutual respect, and support, as well as promoting dignity and ethical conduct. The article elucidates the phenomenon of "academic integrity" as an integral aspect of the educational environment within a higher military education institution, which also encompasses a collection of ethical principles governed by regulatory documents. The personal commitment to the principles of academic integrity by each applicant should be aligned with individual expectations and the requisite level of scholarly research disseminated across multiple publications. The educational setting within a higher military education institution adheres to normative standards of academic integrity, which govern the level of education quality and scientific accomplishments.Вступ . Розглядається місце й роль академічної доброчесності в освітньому середовищі закладів вищої військовоїосвіти. Дослідження базується на аналізі теоретичних джерел і практичному досвіді діяльності військових закладівосвіти. Результати . Окреслено принципи та цінності академічної доброчесності здобувачів як складника освітньогосередовища закладів вищої військової освіти. Унаслідок проведеного аналізу праць учених визначено основні шляхиформування належного ставлення до академічної доброчесності в майбутніх офіцерів. Проаналізовано нормативноправові засади вітчизняної освітньої політики щодо академічної доброчесності в закладах вищої освіти, окреслено труднощі її реалізації в освітньому процесі. Визначено, що особливістю підготовки майбутніх офіцерів до засвоєння стандартів академічної доброчесності є орієнтація молоді на моральні стандарти поведінки, повага до наукових знахідок інших авторів. Висновки . Проведений аналіз засвідчив, що ефективне впровадження основних засад академічної доброчесностіздобувачів вищої військової освіти має спиратися на інтерактивні форми роботи викладачів із курсантами щодо вдосконалення особливостей професійної моралі, а саме: старанність і самостійність у навчанні, відповідальність за власні дії й результати навчання, толерантність, взаємоповагу та підтримку; гідність і моральну поведінку. Уточненофеномен "академічна доброчесність": складник освітнього середовища закладу вищої військової освіти та водночассукупність етичних принципів, що регламентовані нормативними документами. Індивідуальна культура дотриманняпринципів академічної доброчесності в кожного здобувача має асоціюватися з особистими вимогами до себе й належним рівнем наукових розвідок, що оприлюднюються в інформаційному просторі.
