Analysis of existing approaches to understanding key terms of the military sphere, such as «military sphere», «transformation», «transformation of the military sphere». The research is aimed at defining the optimal term «transformation of the military sphere» and distinguishing types and subtypes of transformations. The study is also aimed at developing specific directions and prospects for the development of the military sphere and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in general. This will make it possible to gain a deeper understanding of the military sphere as a component of national security and ensure the proper functioning and development of the military sector. Method. The research was conducted on the basis of the analysis of available literary sources on this topic and the use of the term «transformation of the military sphere». The available domestic and foreign literary sources and the correlation of the mentioned concepts within the limits of this literature are elaborated. A systematic search of scientific articles, monographs, dissertations and other sources related to the use of the term «transformation» in the military and geographical spheres was conducted. Scientific databases, bibliographic manuals and other sources were used to ensure the completeness and representativeness of the selected material. The collected literary sources were analyzed, attention was paid to the approaches, theoretical concepts and positions of scientists regarding the term «transformation» in the military and geographical spheres. Common points, differences and gaps in research are identified. On the basis of the obtained data and analysis, a synthesis and generalization of approaches to understanding the term «transformation» in the military and geographical spheres was performed. Common features and key differences are identified. The results. An analysis of the term «ransformation» was carried out: different definitions and use of the term «transformation» in the military and geographical spheres. Common aspects and differences in the interpretation of this term by various scientists have been revealed. Common features of transformational processes in the military and geographical spheres, such as changes in structure, functions, organization and management, are identified. Specific aspects of transformations in the military and geographical spheres, such as the impact of military conflicts, territorial changes, geopolitical factors, etc., have been identified. Positioning of the term: A clear positioning of the term «transformation» in military spheres is proposed. An optimal definition of the term «transformation» of the military sphere and classification of transformations is proposed. Scientific novelty. The term «transformation» is considered in the military and geographical spheres: The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the use of the term «transformation» in the context of the military and geographical spheres. This allows you to get a unique overview and comparative analysis of this term in different scientific disciplines. Potential gaps and unresolved issues that may be the subject of further research are noted. The research results of the article in the military and geographical spheres» will contribute to the understanding of the essence and relationship between the term «transformation» in the military and geographical spheres, and will also contribute to the development of scientific research in these areas.Метою статті є визначення значення та використання терміна «трансформація» в контексті військової та географічної дисциплін, а також виявлення його впливу на розвиток та розуміння цих сфер. Проведення аналізу існуючих підходів до розуміння ключових термінів військової сфери, таких як «військова сфера», «трансформація», «трансформація військової сфери». Дослідження спрямоване на визначення оптимального терміну «трансформація військової сфери» та виокремлення типів та підтипів трансформацій. Дослідження також спрямоване на розробку конкретних напрямків та перспектив розвитку військової сфери і Збройних Сил України загалом. Це дозволить отримати більш глибоке розуміння військової сфери як складової національної безпеки та забезпечити належне функціонування та розвиток військового сектору. Методика. Дослідження проведено на основі аналізу наявних літературних джерел по даній тематиці та застосування терміну «трансформація військової сфери». Опрацьовано наявні вітчизняні та закордонні літературні джерела та співвідношення зазначених понять в межах цієї літератури. Проведено систематичний пошук наукових статей, монографій, дисертацій та інших джерел, що стосуються використання терміна «трансформація» у військовій і географічній сферах. Використано наукові бази даних, бібліографічні посібники та інші джерела для забезпечення повноти та репрезентативності обраного матеріалу. Проаналізовано зібрані літературні джерела, звернено увагу на підходи, теоретичні концепції та позиції вчених стосовно терміну «трансформація» у військовій і географічній сферах. Визначено спільні пункти, розходження та прогалини в дослідженнях. На основі отриманих даних та аналізу виконано синтез та узагальнення підходів до розуміння терміна «трансформація» у військовій і географічній сферах. Визначено спільні особливості та ключові відмінності. Результати. Проведено аналіз терміну «трансформація»: різних визначень та використання терміна «трансформація» у військовій і географічній сферах. Виявлено спільні аспекти та відмінності в трактуванні цього терміну різними науковцями. Визначено загальні риси трансформаційних процесів у військовій і географічній сферах, такі як зміни в структурі, функціях, організації та управлінні. Виявлено специфічні аспекти трансформацій у військовій і географічній сферах, такі як вплив воєнних конфліктів, територіальні зміни, геополітичні фактори тощо. Позиціонування терміна: запропоновано чітке позиціонування терміна «трансформація» у військовій сферах. Запропоновано оптимальне визначення терміну «трансформація військової сфери» та класифікація трансформацій. Наукова новизна. Розглянуто термін «трансформація» у військовій і географічній сферах. В статті проведено комплексний аналіз використання терміну «трансформація» в контексті військової і географічної сфер. Це дозволяє отримати унікальний огляд та порівняльний аналіз цього терміну у різних наукових дисциплінах. У статті висвітлено спільні аспекти та відмінності у трактуванні терміну «трансформація» у військовій географії та географії загалом. Це дозволяє встановити зв'язки між цими двома сферами та зрозуміти їх взаємозв'язок. Запропоноване власне визначення терміну «трансформація» та запропоновано класифікацію трансформацій військової сфери. Практична значимість. Обгрунтовано практичне значення використання терміну «трансформація» для військових і географічних досліджень, розробки стратегій і політик військового та географічного розвитку. Запропоновано класифікацію трансформацій військової сфери. Вказано на можливі напрями подальших наукових досліджень, що базуються на результатах даного дослідження. Зазначено потенційні прогалини та невирішені питання, які можуть бути об'єктом подальшої наукової роботи.
