It is noted that the issue of material support for the personnel of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine is currently quite relevant. Since in the conditions of martial law, the issue of proper social security of military personnel and other persons participating in the protection of the state sovereignty of Ukraine is important. At the same time, insufficient attention to the main issues of their social security leads to a decrease in their social level, non-fulfillment of declared standards. It is noted that, despite the fact that recently the sphere of social security of the personnel of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, which includes military personnel, civil servants and other employees, has undergone significant changes, such changes are rather related to the quantitative plane, and not quality Since a significant number of adopted normative legal acts do not correspond to the standard of living today and the costs that servicemen pay while protecting their Motherland. Although it should be noted that the state is already taking certain positive steps in this direction. Material support of the personnel of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine is defined as an additional type of social security, which is manifested in the provision of this category of persons with specific types of material goods aimed at meeting their needs. At the same time, it is stated that the material support should correspond to the economic situation in the state and the world, and therefore, the adjustment should be carried out promptly. Their financial support is a direct obligation of the state, as stipulated in the current legislation. Therefore, it is the duty of the state to create and develop an effective mechanism for the material support of the personnel of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.У статті проаналізовано чинне законодавство щодо матеріального забезпечення особового складу Державної служби спеціального зв’язку та захисту інформації України, а також досліджено погляди науковців у зазначеній сфері. Зазначено, що питання матеріального забезпечення особового складу Державної служби спеціального зв’язку та захисту інформації України нині є досить актуальним. Оскільки в умовах воєнного стану важливим є питання належного соціального забезпечення військовослужбовців та інших осіб, які беруть участь у захисті державного суверенітету України. Водночас недостатня увага до основних питань їх соціального забезпечення призводить до зниження їх соціального рівня, невиконання задекларованих стандартів. Зазначено, що недивлячись на те, що останнім часом сфера соціального забезпечення особового складу Державної служби спеціального зв’язку та захисту інформації України, до якого належать військовослужбовці, державні службовці та інші працівники, зазнає суттєвих змін, такі зміни скоріше стосуються кількісної площини, а не якісної. Оскільки значна кількість прийнятих нормативно-правових актів не відповідає рівню життя сьогодні та тим затратам, які військовослужбовці віддають, захищаючи свою Вітчизну. Хоча слід констатувати, що державою у цьому напрямку вже робляться певні позитивні кроки. Матеріальне забезпечення особового складу Державної служби спеціального зв’язку та захисту інформації України визначено як додатковий вид соціального забезпечення, що проявляється у забезпеченні даної категорії осіб конкретними видами матеріальних благ, адресно спрямованих на задоволення їх потреб. При цьому зазначено, що матеріальне забезпечення повинно відповідати економічній ситуації в державі та світі, а отже, й коригування має здійснюватися оперативно. Їх матеріальне забезпечення є прямим обов’язком держави, як це передбачено в чинному законодавстві.
