The crucial features of the region’s civic society made it possible to find out the type of political culture inherent among inhabitants of Transcarpathian region of modern time. The regularity of the development of civil society during the crisis period in Ukraine, in particular in the Transcarpathian region, has been determined. It is argued that the war became a consolidating factor in society. The data on the existing directions in which the CSOs of the Transcarpathian region work are summarized. Furthermore, the study determines the regularities of the development of the volunteer movement in the region. The article characterizes the economic potential of civil society organizations using national and international fund resources. The need to encourage the population to form CSOs as a driver of the development of democratic political culture at the local and national levels is substantiated. Moreover, the study updates the influence of decentralization processes on the development of civil society, the level of participation of citizens in the political life of the region, and interest in the economic and resource development of the region on the example of the Transcarpathian region. The research highlights particular instruments of cross-border cooperation, in which participation is possible for non-governmental, educational, scientific, sports entities of the region. Recommendations have been developed regarding the necessary steps on the way to the further intensification of the civil movement and the creation of CSOs with the aim of developing a democratic political culture.У даній статті здійснено аналіз впливу організацій громадянського суспільства на формування політичної культури шляхом їх залучення до регіональних процесів. Основні характеристики громадянського суспільства в регіоні дозволили визначити тип політичної культури, який притаманний мешканцям Закарпатської області на сучасний період. Визначено закономірність розвитку громадянського суспільства у кризовий період в Україні, зокрема в Закарпатській області. Зазначається, що війна стала консолідуючим фактором для жителів даного регіону. Узагальнено дані про існуючі напрямки в яких працюють ОГС Закарпатської області та визначено закономірності розвитку волонтерського руху в регіоні. Охарактеризовано економічний потенціал організацій громадянського суспільства використовуючи національні та міжнародні фондові ресурси. Обґрунтовано необхідність заохочення населення до формування ОГС, як рушія розвитку демократичної політичної культури на локальному та національному рівнях. Актуалізовано вплив децентралізаційних процесів на розвиток громадянського суспільства, рівня участі громадян в політичному житті краю, зацікавленості в економічному та ресурсному розвитку регіону на прикладі Закарпатської області. Деталізовано основні інструменти транскордонної співпраці, участь в яких можлива для неурядових, освітніх, наукових, спортивних та ін. організацій області.
