The author highlighted that among the basic rights of persons with disabilities to social services is the right to rehabilitation in relevant institutions. However, the lack of practical experience in the legal regulation of rehabilitation of persons with disabilities in Ukraine forces domestic specialists to study foreign experience in the field of rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.It is outlined that the experience of Germany can be used in improving the current legislation of Ukraine regarding the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. Also, the example of the Social Code of Germany shows the need to improve the current system of providing social assistance in Ukraine and to create a single Social Code in Ukraine, which will contribute to increasing the orderliness of the procedure for providing social assistance, justice and an individual approach to providing social assistance, as well as supporting employment and professional development of individuals with a disabilityВ статті основну увагу було приділено з’ясуванню розуміння правового регулювання реабілітації осіб з інвалідністю. Автором було виділено, що серед основних прав осіб з інвалідністю на соціальне обслуговування є право на реабілітацію у відповідних установах. Проте відсутність практичного досвіду правового регулюванні реабілітації осіб з інвалідністю в Україні змушує вітчизняних фахівців вивчати іноземний досвід в сфері реабілітації осіб з інвалідністю.Окреслено, що що досвід Німеччини можливо використовувати при вдосконаленні чинного законодавства України щодо реабілітації осіб з інвалідністю.
