Folklore Studies(2), 36–40. https://doi.org/10.17721/1728-2659.2022.32.0710.17721/1728-2659.2022.32.07https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/16653Автор статті стверджує, що переклад Псалтиря сучасною українською літературною мовою та його всебічне опрацювання, незважаючи на поодинокі спроби реалізувати цей проєкт, залишається актуальним для вітчизняної науково-богословської спільноти, оскільки для сучасних перекладачів співвідношення єврейського і грецького текстів, а також їхнє адекватне відтворення українською мовою з урахуванням активного багатовікового використання слов'янського перекладу є проблемою. Вказуючи практичний шлях для розв'язання цієї проблеми, автор пропонує до уваги власні лінгвістичні схолії до масоретського, грецького та слов'янського текстів перших трьох псалмів, а також пропонує варіант їхнього перекладу. Для роботи використовувалися оригінальні тексти за виданням Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia та Septuaginta, а також загальновживаний нині текст Псалтиря церковнослов'янською мовою. З українськомовних перекладів дослідник орієнтується на богослужбовий Псалтир у Київському перекладі 1920 р., текст якого був відредагований у 1947 р. професорами Української Богословської Академії в Мюнхені, і Книгу Псалмів із перекладацького відділу Українського Біблійного товариства 2016 р., текст якої претендує на академічність і є останнім лінгвістичним словом із цієї теми в українській біблеїстиці. Аналізуючи оригінальні тексти, особливу увагу дослідник приділяє основному поетичному принципу біблійної поезії – паралелізму. Аналізуються також окремі лексеми, вислови та важкі для розуміння місця, які вже неодноразово ставали предметом фахової дискусії, і надаються можливі варіанти їхнього перекладу. Викладений у статті матеріал буде корисним не лише для вітчизняних фахівців із біблеїстики, а й для філологів-перекладачів, літературознавців – усіх тих, хто зацікавлений герменевтикою та екзегезою біблійних текстів.The author of the article claims that the translation of the Psalter into the contemporary Ukrainian literary language and its comprehensive study remain urgent for the domestic scientific and theological community despite the individual attempts to implement this project. The correlation of the Hebrew and the Greek texts as well as their adequate reproduction in the Ukrainian language, taking into account the active centuries-old use of the Slavic translation is a problem for the contemporary translators. Pointing out a practical way to solve this problem, the author proposes his own linguistic scholia to the Masoretic, Greek and Slavic texts of the first three Psalms and also offers a version of their translation. The original texts from Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia and Septuaginta were used for the work, as well as the commonly used text of the Psalter in the Church Slavonic language. As for Ukrainian translators, the researcher focuses on the liturgical Psalter in the Kyiv translation of 1920, the text of which was edited in 1947 by professors of the Ukrainian Theological Academy in Munich, and the Book of Psalms from the translation department of the Ukrainian Bible Society in 2016: this text claims to be academic and is the latest linguistic word on this topic in Ukrainian biblical studies. Analyzing the original texts, the researcher pays special attention to the basic poetic principle of the biblical poetry – parallelism. He also analyzes individual lexemes, expressions and difficult-to-understand passages, which have repeatedly become the subject of professional discussion, and gives possible options for their translation.
