The author draws attention to the study of a set of key predictors of stress states among employees of the private sector of the economy of Ukraine in wartime. The article considers scientific approaches to studying the problem of distress among employees of the private sector of the labor market, identifies the main areas of research into factors that contribute to the formation of social predictors and stressors in the workplace. Particular attention is paid to highlighting the results of a sociological study in which three main blocks of stress states were identified, covering issues of social interaction, psychological problems and facts of health deterioration, which radically affect labor productivity, the effectiveness of social interactions and the quality of life. In general, the data obtained emphasize the importance of involving a comprehensive approach to supporting self-employed individuals, including the development of stress management strategies that will help to effectively cope with today’s challenges, maintain mental health and improve the quality of life in difficult wartime conditions. Overall, the data obtained highlight the importance of engaging in a comprehensive approach to supporting self-employed individuals, including the development of stress management strategies that will help them effectively cope with today's challenges, maintain mental health, and improve their quality of life in difficult war conditions.Мета статті –аналіз соціальних чинників виникнення стресових станів у працівників приватних підприємств України в умовах війни. Звернено увагу на вивчення комплексу ключових чинників форму-вання стресових станів у працівників приватного сектору економіки України в умовах війни. У статті розглянуто наукові підходи до вивчення проблеми дистресу серед працівників приватного сектору ринку праці, виокремлено основні напрями дослідження чинників, які сприяють формуванню соціальних чинників і стресорів на робо-чому місці. Особливу увагу приділено висвітленню результатів соціологічного дослідження,у рамках якого виокремлено три основніблоки стресових станів, що охоплюють питання соціальної взаємодії, психологічні проблеми та факти погіршення здоров’я, що радикально впливають на продуктивність праці, ефективність соціальних взаємо-дій і якість життя.
