Педагогіка, 2(4), 69–77.https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/18562The thesis deals with the theoretical basis of the research trends of university education; trends classification of university education on different grounds (by region distribution, in terms of setting priorities for the development and implementation (distinguishing) in strategic planning and socioeconomic development for the temporal duration, according to the results that can be measured, the characteristic features; the dynamics manifestation, the degree of subordination, the degree of expression); defined trends according to Second academic revolution changes at megatendentcy, deconcentration and local levels; defined vector directions of university education in Ukraine (noospherization, social responsibility, translimitation, politicization, institutionalization, consolidation, commercialization and competition); Ukrainian vector of university education.Author singled out some trends in university education in the context of the Second academic revolution. It was presented some characteristics of the Second academic revolution in the context of the K-economy, or innovative economy. A general list of global trends in higher education was given. The paper presents the main trends associated with so-called human factor inherent in higher education during the Second Academic Revolution. It been defined and characterized the changing lecture role, the specific teaching of this period.
