Дослідження наукової термінології як мови для спеціального вжитку дозволяє визначити як загальні тенденції розвитку, так і особливості формування медичної фахової мови, яка включає також анатомічну термінологію.The article deals with ways of evolution of anatomical terminology. Language of medicine can serve as an example of the existence of very ancient professional language that continues to evolve. The author pays attention, that a new page in the history of anatomical science and terminology is associated with the name of an outstanding scientist of XVIth century Andreas Vesalius, who created a serious book "De humani corporis fabrica, libri septem".
