These processes are interrelated. Myth making, demythologization and subsequent myth making take place in social and cultural medium of Ukraine, and thus in the minds of Ukrainians. The author presents her interpretation of the notions mentioned above. Apart from that the paper states that the Revolution of Dignity triggered the so called folk myth making, i.e. the emergence of positive and, as a rule, heroic myths in the minds of the people. The author emphasizes special role and meaning of the Revolution of Dignity and a ‘new’ mythology not only for self-identification and self-determination of the Ukrainians as a nation but for removal of totalitarian Soviet mythology which hinders developing a democratic state.The author proposes effective methods of demythologization and subsequent myth making within social and cultural medium of Ukraine. The article states that modern positive myth which emerged in mass consciousness of Ukrainian people under continuous external threat and information war will help not only to consolidate Ukrainians but also to fight the aggressor.Keywords: Consolidation, Mass Consciousness, Myth Making, Demythologization, Subsequent Myth Making, Positive Myth.Ольга ГойманУ статті розглядаються взаємопов’язані процеси зміни міфологічного простору, а саме: міфологізація, деміфологізація та реміфологізація, які останнім часом відбуваються у свідомості українців і соціально-культурному просторі України. Зокрема, подається авторська інтерпретація зазначених понять. Наголошується, що Революція Гідності сприяла започаткуванню так званої «низової» народної міфології, тобто народженню позитивних, як правило, героїчних, міфів у свідомості українських громадян. Акцентується увага на значенні Революції Гідності та «нової» міфології не лише для процесів самовизначення і самоідентифікації української нації, але й для звільнення від тоталітарної радянської міфології та ідеології, що суттєво перешкоджають розбудові демократичної держави.Пропонуються ефективні, на думку автора, методи де- та реміфологізації соціально-культурного простору України. Стверджується, що сучасний позитивний міф, який виник у масовій свідомості українства на тлі зовнішньої загрози та тривалої інформаційної війни, допоможе не лише об’єднати українство, але й перемогти агресора.Ключові слова: консолідація, масова свідомість, міфологізація, деміфологізація, реміфологізація, позитивний міф.ukСтаття
