Політологічний вісник(89), 103–123. https://doi.org/10.17721/2415-881x.2022.89.103-12310.17721/2415-881x.2022.89.103-123https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/18919The wide author’s definition and interpretation of the concept of «Strategic communications of the Defense Forces of Ukraine» is given, which is understood as the newest fundamental tool of coordination of information and communication activity of the Defense Forces, which consists of goals, principles, tasks, functions, principles and methods of information regulation, coordinated with strategic priorities of state bodies and non-state institutions, The essence of which is to ensure effective coordination of communication capabilities and regulation of the information sphere around the defense forces of Ukraine, proceeding from the strategic goals of defense of Ukraine by forming and implementing strategic meetings and implementation of crisis communications in the defense forces of Ukraine.Defined, that discourse of institualization of strategic communications as an instrument of ensuring military security that began in the beginning of XXI century and connected with awareness of the danger of growing information threats, what are becoming increasingly important in context of development of the information and communicative technologies and transformation of the modern hybrid conflicts. The above-mentioned called a need in formation of the complex instrument, whose essence would be to prevent such conflicts in the way of coordinating communicative capabilities of the state and forming an informational agenda in accordence with the strategic interests of the state.Дано розлоге авторське визначення та трактування поняття «Стратегічні комунікації сил оборони України» під яким розуміється новітній фундаментальний інструментарій координації інформаційно-комунікативної діяльності сил оборони, що складається з мети, засадничих ідей, завдань, функцій, принципів і методів регулювання інформаційної сфери, узгоджений із стратегічними пріоритетами діяльності державних органів і недержавних інституцій, сутністю якого є забезпечення ефективної координації комунікативних спроможностей та регулювання інформаційної сфери довкола сил оборони України виходячи із стратегічних цілей оборони України шляхом формування і впровадження стратегічних наративів та реалізації кризових комунікацій у силах оборони України.З’ясовано, що дискурс щодо інституціалізації стратегічних комунікацій як інструменту забезпечення воєнної безпеки розпочався на початку ХХІ ст. та пов’язаний з усвідомленням небезпеки зростаючих інформаційних загроз, що набувають все більшого значення в контексті розвитку інформаційно-комунікативних технологій та трансформації сучасних гібридних конфліктів.
