A transformational method and a procedure of inverse reconstruction (discourse → language ) are used to construct virtual (linguistic) synonymic series, to identify the primary structure and to determine the semantic and syntactic peculiarities of each transformant. By means of the linguo-stylistic and interpretative analyses the author’s idiostyle features are revealed and the co(n)textual (linguistic and / or situational) pertinence of the actualized preferential options is justified. It is proven that mono- and polypredicative mono- and polytransformational structures with mono- or polysynonymy at the level of a syntagma or utterance with different key lexemes (nominal, adjective, verbal, participle, gerundial, adverbial, numeral, pronominal, interjectional) represent reduced, redundant and quantitatively equacomponential preferential options, transformants of primary structures with elimination, accentuation of new co(n)textual referents, extension with pronouns, adverbs, verbs and presentatives, with conversion of components, etc. It is found that they are actualized according to certain ludic strategies, writer’s idiostyle or communicative intention to (doubly) focalize certain referents using syntactic intonation and restriction markers, as means of specialized focalization, to avoide the reactualization of intra- or intertextually introduced components, to syntactically “balance” the co(n)text or to exteriorize certain types of agrammaticalized synonymic constructions, authorial occasionalisms.У цьому дослідженні використано модульний аналіз (синтагматичний, пропозиціональний та граничний модулі) звужених, розширених і кількісно рівнокомпонентних моно- та поліпредикативних моно- та полісинонімічних граматизованих і аграматизованих висловлень з різними головними лексемами сучасної французької художньої прози. Побудовано та зворотно реконструйовано (мовлення → мова) віртуальні (мовні) синонімічні ряди для ідентифікації первинної структури, визначення семантико-синтаксичних особливостей кожного трансформу та обґрунтування ко(н)текстуальної (лінгвістичної та / або ситуативної) пертинентності преференціальної опції.
