Given their territorial distribution, the impact on the environment and the population. The assessment of a current environmental situation in the city. Noted the priority of the optimization problem. In General, the material of the article is the result recognotion research is based on application of geosystem approach to the study of the urban environment. Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi is regarded as a multifunctional system, which is characterized by internal heterogeneity of the sources of influence on the nature of their close territorial interaction and integration within the city. The population, as the main component of this system responds specifically to the impact of such integration. Modern ecological situation is due to the functioning and interaction of natural-technical geosystems for various purposes. Among the main groups of measures for improving environmental quality may be noted the technological, sanitary-technical, architectural-planning, engineering, organizational, legal, economic and educational. Environmental management within the urban environment is based on the consideration and implementation of environmental principles, which include the principle of the space-time of natural technical geosystems, the ubiquity of environmental protection measures, profilakticheski environmental measures, territorial differentiation, management and control.
