The main mapping means worth using in the infectious diseases mapping are distinguished. The expediency of different cartographic methods usage was analysed. Essential variants of the infectious diseases mapping in cartographic works are studied. Basic rules of representative the sickness rate of populations indices into conventional signs on the legend of map are exposed.Розглянуто особливості, які є характерними для картографування інфекційних хвороб на території України. Виділено основні картографічні способи, які варто використовувати при відображенні інфекційних хвороб на карті. Проаналізовано доцільність використання різних методів картографування. Досліджено основні варіанти зображення показників інфекційних хвороб у картографічних творах.
