Ukrainian studies can provide a theoretical and methodological basis for the introduction of national-patriotic education in the conditions of the modern Russian-Ukrainian war as an educational, scientific and educational branch of humanitarian knowledge about Ukraine and world Ukrainians. The purpose of the article is to actualizing the role of Ukrainian studies in the implementation of national-patriotic education in the scientific and educational humanitarian space of Ukraine and the diaspora. Conclusions. It was established that the subject «Ukrainian Studies» should be returned to an invariant component of the educational process and taught at all levels of education. It was emphasized that the implementation of the pedagogical experience of national-patriotic education is carried out according to educational programs in Ukrainian studies, which were developed by the author's teams of the Scientific Research Institute of Ukraine, which need to be revised and re-approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine. It was noted that the modernization of the introduction of Ukrainian studies lessons and other educational activities with elements of Ukrainian studies into the educational process takes place through the exchange of pedagogical experience during all Ukrainian or international competitions in Ukrainian studies. It is noted that educational and theoretical and methodological materials on Ukrainian studies are developed taking into account the results of fundamental and applied research works.
