Ця варіативність обумовлена перманентною взаємодією в комунікативних групах та відповідає потребам сучасності. Дослідження цієї тематики має важливе значення у лінгвістиці, перекладознавстві та культурології, оскільки мова є важливим індикатором соціальних змін та відображає актуальні тренди та цінності кожного з поколінь. У зв'язку з глобалізацією світу виникає міжкультурна комунікація, а МС/СС, у свою чергу, є важливою складовою цього процесу, демонструючи адаптацію молоді до нових реалій та збереження її унікальності. Об'єктом дослідження є текст твору Генріха Белля «Груповий портрет з дамою» з німецької мови, перекладеного Євгеном Поповичем та Юрієм Лісняком, а предметом слугує соціолінгвістичний аналіз МС/СС цього твору та методи їх перекладу. Мета роботи полягає у виявленні особливостей використання та перекладу МС/СС українською та німецькою мовами, а також у визначенні шляхів їх аналізу та перекладу. Для досягнення цієї мети встановлено ряд завдань, які включають в себе висвітлення системності МС/СС як проблеми перекладу, дослідження поняття МС/СС, опис способів їх перекладу, аналіз прагматики вживання та вивчення особливостей МС/СС в літературному жанрі. Підсумовуючи, варто сказати, що МС/СС мають еволюційний характер, постійно відображаючи актуальні соціальні тенденції та культурні явища. У дослідженні було також розглянуто способи перекладу молодіжної лексики та студентського сленгу. Ця лексика часто потребує різноманітних лексичних і граматичних трансформацій під час перекладу. Через відсутність еквівалентів у мові перекладу перекладачі змушені застосовувати різні підходи, як-от антонімічний чи описовий переклад. Крім того, вони часто використовують прийом компенсації, що дозволяє передати стилістичну адекватність тексту. Таким чином, це дослідження не тільки підкреслює соціокультурну значимість МС/СС як індикаторів сучасних тенденцій, а й демонструє складнощі їх перекладу, зумовлені необхідністю відтворення культурних особливостей і стилістичних елементів оригіналу.The relevance of the study lies in the constant updating and evolution of youth vocabulary and student slang in Ukrainian and German. This variability is due to the permanent interaction in communicative groups and meets the needs of modern times. The study of this topic is of great importance in linguistics, translation studies and cultural studies, as language is an important indicator of social change and reflects the current trends and values of each generation. Due to the globalisation of the world, intercultural communication is emerging, and both youth vocabulary and student slang is an important component of this process, demonstrating the adaptation of young people to new realities and preserving their uniqueness. The object of the study is the text of Heinrich Bell's "Group Portrait with a Lady" from the German language, translated by Yevhen Popovych and Yurii Lisniak, and the subject is the sociolinguistic analysis of the MS/SS in this work and the methods of their translation. The aim of the study is to identify the peculiarities of using and translating youth vocabulary and student slang in Ukrainian and German, as well as to determine the ways of their analysis and translation. To achieve this goal, a number of tasks have been set, including highlighting the systematic nature of youth vocabulary and student slang as a translation problem, studying the concept of youth vocabulary and student slang, describing the ways of translating them, analysing the pragmatics of use and studying the peculiarities of youth vocabulary and student slang in the literary genre. To summarise, it is worth noting that CU/SS are evolutionary in nature, constantly reflecting current social trends and cultural phenomena. The study also examined the ways of translating youth vocabulary and student slang. This vocabulary often requires various lexical and grammatical transformations during translation. Due to the lack of equivalents in the target language, translators are forced to use different approaches, such as antonymic or descriptive translation. In addition, they often use the technique of compensation, which allows them to convey the stylistic adequacy of the text.
