Висвітлено вклад вітчизняних і зарубіжних вчених у вивчення ландшафтів Бескид та їх класифікацію. Обгрунтовано, що ландшафтний район Сколівських Бескид є цілісним ландшафтним районом з чітко вираженими межами і національний природний парк Сколівські Бескиди переважно розміщений в його межах (крім того, частина парку розташована у районі Берегових Бескид і невелика ділянка у районі Стрийсько Сянської Верховини).It was found the placement of national natural park "Scolivski Beskydy" in the system of regional and typical landscape units of Ukrainian Carpathians. The article highlights the contribution of national and foreign scientists to studying landscapes of Beskydy and classification of E. Kondratski, K. Herenchuk, B. Mucha, G. Miller and others. It was revealed the evolution of views concerning placement and borders of Scolivski Beskydy. Debatable issues relating to geographical division of Scolivski Beskydy and Ukrainian Carpathians in general were reviewed. There was substantiated that the landscape region of Scolivski Beskydy is a holistic landscape region with a distinct borders and the national natural park "Scolivski Beskydy" is mainly located within it. In addition, a part of the park is located in the region of Berehovi Beskydy and a small area in a region of Stryisko-Syanska Verhovina. On the basis of substantiated by the author system of landscape division of Ukrainian Carpathians it was offered optimal borders of national natural park "Scolivski Beskydy". Based on proposed by the author classification of Ukrainian Carpathians it was found the landscape representativeness of the national natural parks in the region including the national natural park "Scolivski Beskydy". It is concluded that national natural park "Scolivski Beskydy" is organized in low mountains and middle mountains parts of dominative skybovy kind of Ukrainian Carpathians' landscapes, that is known under the general name Beskydy, that the central massif of the national natural park is presented with typical middle mountains in interfluves Stryi - Opir and Opir - Mizunka (the actual Skolivski Beskydy), the northern outskirt of national park (Tustan massif) represents the marginal low mountains of Berehovi Beskydy and the nearest landscape surrounding of the national natural park are formed only with beskyd natural structures that are Upper-Dniester and Berehovi - at the north and northeast, Prygorganski are at the south-east and Verhovinsky are at the south-west.ukландшафтфізико-географічне районуваннянаціональний природний паркСколівські Бескидиlandscapephysical and geographical regionalizationnational natural parkSkolivski BeskydyСтаття
