Епонімна незбіжність вважається природнім з’явищем, що спричинене етноцентризмом, термінологічним патріотизмом, а також різнобічним трактуванням історії розвитку науки. У статті визначені поняття епонімної незбіжности, термінологічного патріотизму, продемонстровано відмінні епонімні терміни у різномовних термінологічних стандартах медичної термінології.The suggested research introduces the category of the eponymic discrepancy. This phenomenon derives from the integration of the conjugated eponyms to multilingual terminological systems, in particular the medical one. Eponymic discrepancy is considered to be a natural phenomenon resulting from ethnocentrism, terminological patriotism and various interpretations of the science history.
