The author identifies the main objective of social security, which forms the basis for determining the content of social security goals for the civil service in a globalized world. The article provides evidence supporting the assertion that the goal of social security for civil servants in the context of globalization is to establish and maintain favorable conditions for the timely, complete, and effective realization of their social rights. This entails taking into consideration the opportunities and risks presented by globalization processes, which may affect civil servants' social security. As part of the globalization process, a set of social security tasks is implemented to achieve this goal. These tasks consist of legal system tasks in the context of globalization and general social security tasks. In their most general form, the tasks specified by the author include ensuring the national security and interests of the state (society), the human-centric orientation of the state, the possibility of full and productive work for civil servants, and the creation of a framework for an appropriate level of social security in the public service. The article summarizes the results of scientific explorationСтаття присвячена уточненню мети і завдань соціальної безпеки державної служби в умовах глобалізації. Автором з’ясовується основна мета соціальної безпеки, на основі якої окреслюється зміст мети соціальної безпеки державної служби в умовах глобалізації. Доводиться, що ця мета полягає у формуванні та забезпеченні умов, що є сприятливими для вчасної, повної та ефективної реалізації державними службовцями комплексу належних їм соціальних прав з урахуванням можливостей та ризиків для їх соціальної безпеки, які обумовлюються глобалізаційними процесами. Ця мета соціальної безпеки державної служби в умовах глобалізації досягається шляхом виконання комплексу завдань такої безпеки. Систему цих завдань складають завдання правової системи в умовах глобалізації, а також загальні завдання соціальної безпеки. В узагальненому вигляді до вказаних завдань автором відносяться такі завдання соціальної безпеки державної служби в умовах глобалізації: забезпечення національної безпеки і національних інтересів держави (суспільства), людиноцентристської спрямованості діяльності держави; уможливлення повної та продуктивної праці державних службовців; створення простору належного рівня соціальної безпеки на державній службі.
