Analyzing the situation of planning the development of the territories of Vasilkovsky district, we are actually faced with the chaos in this area, diversity of the general plans (GP) or theirs complete absence, difficulty in search of topographic bases with different scales. Although the openness of the information base of territorial planning Vasilkovsky district, was a pleasant surprise, however, the analysis of this database showed that for many villages it is outdated or not complete. The new master plan covered only 38% of the territory, 17% - under development and 45% needed to develop or update. Existing General plans differ in both a temporal and methodological aspects. The absence of uniform methodology for natural scientific basis makes the General planning of efficient small and leads sometimes to distant but inevitable conflicts and problems of development. In our opinion, a comprehensive comprehensive evaluation of urban territory for planning its development and and functional zoning is impossible without realization of the geomorphological expertise and build a modern thematic maps, including geomorphological maps.
