The research provides a comprehensive analysis of the legal framework for social dialogue in the European Union, focusing on the provisions of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and relevant directives that establish the foundation for social partnership and collective bargaining. The study investigates the fundamental principles of social dialogue in the EU, emphasizing the importance of negotiations, consultations, and information exchange between governments, employers, and workers' organizations. Special attention is paid to the European Commission's role in monitoring and evaluating social dialogue initiatives, including the requirement for independent evaluation reports and systematic stakeholder engagement. The article thoroughly examines the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU as a framework document for adapting Ukrainian legislation to European standards in social dialogue. The significance of this Agreement is analyzed through multiple aspects: establishing clear legal frameworks for legislative adaptation, creating an institutional basis for implementing European social partnership practices, and providing mechanisms for monitoring reform progress. The current state of social dialogue in Ukraine is assessed, identifying legal and practical obstacles that hinder its effectiveness, influence, and inclusiveness. The research analyzes recent legislative developments, including the new Law "On Collective Agreements and Contracts," and their potential impact on strengthening the foundations of collective bargaining in Ukraine. The study proposes comprehensive strategies for improving Ukraine's social dialogue system, considering European experience and best practices. These strategies encompass legal reforms, capacity building initiatives, and mechanisms for broader stakeholder engagement. Particular attention is given to the importance of developing reliable monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess progress in implementing social dialogue principles. The research emphasizes the critical role of political will and institutional capacity in overcoming established interests and resistance to change. The article acknowledges the challenges posed by Ukraine's geopolitical context, particularly the Russian aggression, while highlighting the country's significant potential for enhancing its social dialogue system in alignment with European standards. The study concludes that despite existing challenges, Ukraine demonstrates substantial potential for improving its social dialogue system and bringing it closer to European standards. The EU's commitment to supporting Ukraine's reforms, evidenced by significant financial assistance exceeding €16.5 billion, indicates the real possibility of transforming Ukraine's social dialogue system in accordance with European practices.У статті досліджуються перспективи впровадження стандартів ЄС у правове регулювання соціального діалогу в Україні. Проаналізовано правову базу соціального діалогу в ЄС, зокрема положення Договору про функціонування Європейського Союзу та відповідних директив. Розглянуто основні принципи соціального діалогу в ЄС та механізми його впровадження. Особлива увага приділяється аналізу Угоди про асоціацію між Україною та ЄС як рамкового документу для адаптації українського законодавства до європейських стандартів у сфері соціального діалогу. Досліджено поточний стан соціального діалогу в Україні та визначено основні виклики його розвитку. Запропоновано стратегії вдосконалення системи соціального діалогу в Україні з урахуванням європейського досвіду.
