Екологічний ризик, який розглядається як міра невизначеності наслідків тих чи інших дій пов’язаних із намаганням утримати певний рівень екологічної безпеки в значній мірі залежить від особи яка може вплинути на проблеми управління екологічним ризиком, її наукового та освітнього рівня. Розкривається досвід підготовки фахівців, що можуть вплинути та оцінити проблеми взаємодії між небезпечними екологічними впливами та об’єктами навколишнього середовища. Охарактеризовано освітні рівні підготовки фахівців з проблем довкілля та місце у навчальному процесі проблем екологічно ризику у Львівському національному університеті. Роль географії у розумінні поняття екологічний ризик.Ecoeducational aspects of the environmental risk are considered in the article. Environmental risk, seen as a measure of uncertainty of the effects of actions related to the efforts to maintain a level of environmental safety, depends on the person that may affect the problem of environmental risk management, his scientific and educational level. The experience of training of specialists, which could affect the problem and assess the interaction between environmental influences and dangerous objects of the environment are considered. Educational level training of specialists in environmental issues and place in the educational process of environmental risk issues in Ivan Franko National University of Lviv are characterized. Educational departments of the humanities profile – philological faculty, faculty of foreign languages, faculty of journalism, historical faculty. Here is taught the course „Social ecology” which allows a comprehensive treatment of the problems of interaction between human society and nature, develops in the students a clear notion about the critical socio-ecological situation on our planet, it’s huge scale and possible consequences, the main reasons for its occurrence and possible ways to it’s overcoming, about integrity and at the same time the multi dimensionality of this problem. Special and specialized levels – geographical faculty, geological faculty, biological faculty, chemical faculty where are trained the experts of relevant specialties and specializations. The College of Natural Sciences is the famous centre in the formation of the ecological outlook in the university, where are trained specialists for the specializations: applied ecology, bioecology, ecology of the geological environment and adjacent environments, ecology of the land use and the agribusiness, border environmental control. The role of geography in understanding the concept of environmental risk are described.
