Доведено, що спотворення лінгвістичного коду та ілюзія його нормативної еквівалентности спричинилися до панівного становища родових термінологічних симулякрів. Опріче німецько-української перекладної літератури до розвідки залучено відповідні лексикографічні джерела, вивчання яких засвідчує ненормативність чоловічого роду для медичних термінів грецького походження на -is. Задля стандартизації української медичної термінології проілюстровано дію закону вирівнювання парадигми роду.The article deals with desimulacrisation processes of the genus category in Ukrainian medical terminology through the prism of translation-oriented terminology. It gives a detailed analysis of the distortion of the linguistic code and the illusion of its normative equivalence that have caused the dominant position of gender terminological simulacra. In addition to German-Ukrainian translation literature, the research involves relevant lexicographic sources, the study of which testifi es to abnormality of the imposed masculine medical terms of Greek origin in -is. The backbone in this study is the method of historical reconstruction, as it makes it possible to study the history of involving abnormal terms in the discourse of medicine, which serve as the basis for the standardization of medical terminology.
