Military-special sciences(1), 72–79. https://doi.org/10.17721/1728-2217.2020.43.72-7910.17721/1728-2217.2020.43.72-79https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/15306The article is devoted to considering the methodology of harmonizing the parameters and elements of the contents of the domestic topographical map of the scale of 1:500,000 with a map of the same scale, developed in accordance with NATO standards (TPC, ONC). It provides for analysis, with the possible reciprocal use of existing Samples of "Maps of Common Action" (Joint operations graphic - JOG, Series 1501) scale 1: 250,000 as a quadruple-sheet map of a scale of 1:500,000. The methodology presents the result of graphic language studies in the general theory of iconic systems as language formations and subsequent scientific developments, which are implemented on the basis of the theoretical and methodological provisions of modern cardboard relative to the normalized structure of the semiotic sides of the "object" language of the map. (obligatory, minimum necessary and sufficient for mapping means of cartographic modeling of features (qualitative, quantitative, functional) various objects, processes and phenomena of real reality and their changes in space and time). It is the sembotic structure interrelated between the sides of the content that makes the map language functioning and determines the degree of perfection (quality) of cartographic image. This language structure is a reference for requirements, which provides for the control of the correspondence of elements of the content of any geoimage (representation of graphic language spatially and expressed information) with compliance mapping positions of mapping modeling. Thus, on the basis of Semitic analysis, in development of topographic map as tactical-piloting, the necessity of introduction to its digital model of two additional "Coloro-thematic" layers is determined: objects of aeronautical information (dark blue) and "signal" component of the content of the map – signatures of their own names in Latin (light red) colors.Стаття присвячена розгляду методики узгодження параметрів і елементів змісту вітчизняної топографічної карти масштабу 1:500 000 з картою такого ж масштабу, розробленою у відповідності до стандартів NATO (TPC, ONC). Вона передбачає аналіз, з можливим взаємним використанням, існуючих зразків «Карти спільних дій» (Joint operations graphic - JOG, серія 1501) масштабу 1: 250 000 як зчетверених аркушів карти масштабу 1:500 000. Методика є результатом досліджень графічної мови в загальній теорії знакових систем як мовних утворень і подальших наукових розробок, які реалізуються на основі теоретико-методологічних положень сучасної картосеміотики стосовно унормованої структури семіотичних сторін змісту «об‘єктної» мови карти (обов‘язкових, мінімально необхідних та достатніх для відображення засобами картографічного моделювання особливостей (якісних, кількісних, функціональних) різноманітних предметів, процесів та явищ реальної дійсності і їх змін у просторі і часі). Саме семіотична структура взаємопов‘язаних між собою сторін змісту робить мову карти функціонуючою і визначає ступінь досконалості (якість) картографічного зображення. Ця структура мови виступає еталоном вимог, що передбачає контроль відповідності елементів змісту будь-якого геозображення (представлення графічною мовою просторово і змістовно вираженої інформації) з дотриманням картосеміотичних положень картографічного моделювання.
