З цією метою розглянуто основні етапи формування імміграційної політики США за президента Б.Обами, показана сучасна імміграційна динаміка та вплив імміграційних процесів на соціально-економічний розвиток країни, проаналізовані інтеграційні проблеми мігрантів у США. Це вимагає ґрунтовного вивчення впливів та наслідків міграції. Міграційні потоки зупинити неможливо, але ними можна керувати, отримуючи при цьому користь від міграційного потенціалу. Тому особлива увага відводиться міграційній політиці як на національному, так і на міжнародному рівнях. На сьогодні жодна з держав не здатна самостійно впоратися з управлінням міграційними потоками.
