The author sets out the basic principles of tolerance, in particular the principle of purposefulness; correlation between the education of tolerance and social position; considering individual characteristics of gender and age; and holding personality in respect; reliance on the positive in the educational process. Pedagogical conditions of formation of tolerant attitude among the students are formulated.У статті визначено зміст процесу формування толерантного ставлення до молоді з інвалідністю у студентському середовищі на основі аналізу результатів проведеного дослідження. Автором сформульовано основні принципи формування толерантного ставлення, зокрема принцип цілеспрямованості; принцип взаємозв'язку виховання толерантності із життєвою позицією; принцип врахування індивідуальних та статево-вікових особливостей; принцип поваги до особистості; принцип опори на позитивне у виховному процесі.
