Український психологічний журнал, (1), 16–25.https://ir.library.knu.ua/handle/15071834/27145The article reviews the current state of research the phenomenon of children of war in modern Ukraine as a complex socio-psychological phenomenon which needs thorough study and research to identify ways of social and psychological rehabilitation, maintenance during later life. It is proposed to consider the trauma in several aspects identified by Kirilenko T. S. Were presented category children of war in the modern world. Forecast expectations of negative consequences of behavior of children in different age categories. Formation of adult man will occur with some difficulties of adaptation and immature psychological defense system. Were realized prediction expectations of negative consequences of children behavior in the different age categories: for preschool children (6 years) — the fear of parents, fear of physical contact with an adult, constant alertness without cause; children of primary school age — ambivalent feelings about adult problems in defining the roles of family, fear, shame, disgust, depravity, distrust in the world; for teens 13–18 years — disgust, shame, guilt, distrust, ambivalent feelings toward adults, sexual abnormalities, immaturity of social roles and their role in the family, a sense of own uselessness. The article reviewed the possibility of gradual overcoming of trauma in the recovery process during the life of the individual. Children of war of modern Ukraine require constant attention from both professional specialist psychologists, rehabilitators and relevant government agencies. Meeting all these challenges also requires state program of social protection.У статті розглянуто нинішній стан дослідження явища дітей війни у сучасній Україні.
